cover_largeI’ll admit – this is a bit of a loaded question. The Internet Retailer 500 list just came out, and we are excited to see that most of the top retailers choose Bazaarvoice to help them collect and display customer reviews, Q&A, and stories. And we’re ahead by a lot: we now serve more IR500 retailers than all other hosted solutions combined.

This was the first year that retailers overwhelmingly chose a hosted solution rather than an in-house build. More and more retailers are focusing on what they do best – selling quality products and creating a great customer experience – and letting outsourced providers moderate – and innovate on – their user-generated content options.

What does this mean to us? We’re proud to serve so many of the best retailers, and we continue to find new ways to make them even more successful.

More importantly, what does this mean to you? It means that retailers (and consumers) rely on reviews and other user-generated content to keep them on top, and that, when they weigh the options and select a social commerce vendor, most of them choose us.
